Supporting the Chapter and Membership Information

Financial Support of individuals and businesses is also important to the success of the Nashville, Tennessee Chapter.  There are two ways to support through the MSU Foundation.

Chapter Scholarship

The Nashville, Tennessee Chapter has established a scholarship fund through the MSU Foundation to be awarded to entering freshmen from the greater Nashville, Tennessee area. Help us grow this fund by making a tax-deductible donation, in any amount, to the MSU Foundation. Designate your donation to the “Nashville, Tennessee Chapter Scholarship Fund.”

Utilize secure online giving by visiting the MSU Foundation giving website.

Nashville, Tennessee Chapter Scholarship

Members of the Nashville, Tennessee Alumni Chapter of Mississippi State University established the NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP fund. The Mississippi State University Foundation agrees to use this endowed fund for scholarships for deserving students enrolled at Mississippi State University.

The University Scholarship Committee administers the scholarship program at Mississippi State University. Financial need may be used as consideration in selection. Any scholarships will be awarded on a year-to-year basis. Students who are recipients one year are eligible for consideration in any other year; however, they must again comply with the selection criteria.

Awards will be based on funds available.  Funds will not be given directly to the recipients; rather, the university business office will credit the recipients' tuition and fees expenses each semester.

Applications for this scholarship are contained within the student application for admission and scholarship resume component.  Students that apply and are accepted to Mississippi State will automatically be considered if the criteria is met.
