Thirty-two local chapters, in conjunction with the MSU Alumni Association and the Office of Admissions and Scholarships, hosted 2008 Send-off Parties throughout the Southeast during July and August.
These special gatherings enabled incoming freshmen and transfer students to get a feel for university life, while allowing alumni and friends the opportunity to offer advice and well-wishes as our students embark on this important educational journey. It's also a great opportunity for prospective students and their parents to learn more about what Mississippi State has to offer.
