Mark your calendars now for the 2009 alumni band festivities Saturday, Oct. 10, as the Bulldogs take on Houston! This year, alumni band members are invited to sit in the stands and play during the game. All band alumni are invited to come enjoy the game and renew old friendships. If you plan to attend AND play in the stands, please click here to pre-register or contact the alumni office at 662-325-2284. You must pre-register to be admitted to play in the stands.



Game Tickets
Playing members of the alumni band are admitted to the game at no cost. All family members must purchase a ticket to the game. We have received a special pricing of $10 on game tickets for alumni band family members. To reserve your tickets, please contact the alumni office at 662-325-2284 or indicate on your Web registration form that you wish to reserve tickets. Please make your reservations by Oct. 7. Limit 5 tickets per family at this price. Note: These tickets are not in the same seating area as the alumni band.

8:30 a.m.        Registration at McCarthy Gymnasium

9 a.m.            Alumni Band rehearsal at McCarthy Gymnasium

9:30a.m.        Gather at the Alumni Tent in the Junction for a continental breakfast

9:45 a.m.       Maroon Band warm up in McCarthy Gymnasium

10:30 a.m.    Parade to the stadium with the Maroon Band

11:30 a.m.    Kickoff


Instruments
Please bring your own instrument for the performance. The Maroon Band has a limited number of percussion, sousaphones, mellophones, and baritones that we will lend on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to reserve an instrument, please make sure you indicate that on the Web registration form.

Uniform
The performance uniform will be a maroon shirt with khaki or dark shorts or pants and athletic shoes. The Maroon Band does not have maroon shirts for sale this year.
