Dear Fellow Bulldog,
My name is Ben Riser, and I would like to thank you for considering me for this scholarship. My parents, my uncles and cousins have all gone to Mississippi State, and now I have the privilege to attend here as well. This is a place that both my family and I can proudly call home.
I am excited to be beginning my sophomore year here to continue pursuing my degree in industrial engineering. There are so many opportunities offered by the school within the engineering field that I look forward to exploring. MSU has shown its leadership and excellence in engineering, assuring me that my future is bright here.
I have worked very hard over the last several years trying to achieve academic excellence in order to attend the school that I love so dearly. Seeing how great my first year was, I rest assured that I have so much to look forward to during my time at MSU. It has been so great meeting people from so many different places, and MSU has opened countless doors to opportunities I could not have dreamt of before. I am proud to be a student here at Mississippi State, and thank you for your support with this scholarship.
Sincerely,
Ben Riser
