There are thousands of MSU car tags on the road in Mississippi today. The tag is a partnership between the Alumni Association and the Mississippi Tax Commission and raises funds to support priority programs at Mississippi State.

The commemorative 2021 National Championship license plate is the newest MSU car tag in the state of Mississippi. The tag is a partnership between the Alumni Association and the Mississippi Tax Commission, and raises funds to support priority programs at Mississippi State.

The Mississippi State University license plate is available to all South Carolina residents. Proceeds from the plate will be used to support alumni programs.

You must submit a completed Application of Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV- 95) along with required fees to obtain your license plate. Applications can be processed by mail or at the local DMV office.

Get your Texas license plate today! The plate is a partnership between the Alumni Association and MyPlates, which produces a wide variety of specialty tags for Texas drivers. Ten percent (10%) of the cost goes to a scholarship fund for Texas students who attend Mississippi State.

The Texas tag can be purchased and personalized on MyPlates.com. Plates are also available for purchase from the Texas Department of Transportation.

MSU License plates are available in Alabama to be issued to private passenger automobiles, pickup trucks, motorcycles, pleasure motor vehicles (i.e., recreational vehicles). MSU plates are available by visiting your local licensing officials office.

Registration fees associated with the purchase of this license plate range from $23.00 to $890.00 depending on the type of vehicle being registered.

The MSU license plate is available to Tennessee residents who are registering a private passenger motor vehicle through each county clerk's office.

COST AND ORDERING

The annual fee is $56.50 - 80% of the additional $35 collected is allocated to the Tennessee Arts Commission and 20% to the Highway Fund. The plate can be personalized with 5 characters available for a total cost of $91.50.

Depending on your renewal date, the fees range from $25 to $125.

As of March 2024, MSU license plates are now available in Louisiana! All alumni, fans and friends are encouraged to purchase a plate.

COST AND ORDERING

To order a plate, go to www.expresslane.org and select Vehicle Registration Renewal. Under Vehicles there will be a tab labeled Plates. Please select Special & Personalized Plates. You will then click the Special Plates link found on the right side of the webpage. Select continue to enter your current license plate number, and then select Universities/Colleges. Mississippi State University will appear in the scroll menu. Select it to view an image of the plate and an estimation of fees. Click order form, and a printable form will generate to complete, print, and mail in for processing. Please follow all necessary steps to submit the form and payment.

Royalties from the plates will go towards the MSU/Louisiana Alumni Chapter Scholarship for incoming students who are residents of Louisiana.
